Individual therapy for a deeper understanding of yourself.
A space to make sense of your experiences, understand old patterns, and create meaningful change in how you relate to yourself and others.
Therapy is offered both in-person or via a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform within the state of Florida. I see ages 18 and up.
You don't have to have a diagnosis to do this kind of work.
You don't have to be in crisis or have a specific diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what's next, therapy can help you make sense of what's going on and create meaningful
Specialities
You may have spent years trying to understand yourself, your relationships, and where your patterns come from. But knowing why something happens doesn't always make it easier to change.
I help highly self-aware adults understand the deeper roots of their patterns so they can stop repeating what no longer serves them and create more secure, connected relationships with themselves and others.
You may find yourself navigating some of the following:
-
You may be used to putting everyone else’s needs before your own, keeping the peace, or taking responsibility for things that aren’t yours to carry. Therapy can help you understand where these patterns came from, reconnect with what you actually need, and build boundaries that feel more authentic and sustainable.
-
You may accomplish a lot and still feel like you're falling short. Therapy can help you understand the beliefs and experiences that shaped how you see yourself, build a more grounded sense of self-worth, and develop confidence that isn’t dependent on how well you’re performing or what others think of you.
-
Your mind may feel like it’s always analyzing, anticipating, or preparing for what could go wrong. You may also struggle to understand or manage intense emotions once they show up. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening underneath the anxiety while building practical tools for nervous system regulation, somatic grounding, and navigating difficult emotions with greater confidence.
-
You may notice familiar patterns repeating in your relationships. Some of these may include difficulty trusting, fear of abandonment, pulling away when things feel too close, or struggling to communicate what you need. Together, we can explore how your past experiences have shaped the way you connect with others and create more secure, fulfilling relationships.
-
Your childhood may have felt “fine,” but something about those early relationships still follows you. Emotional unavailability, criticism, inconsistency, enmeshment, or having to grow up too quickly can shape how you relate to yourself and others long into adulthood. Therapy can help you make sense of those experiences without minimizing them or blaming yourself for how you adapted.
-
Trauma can come from a single overwhelming experience or from the accumulation of difficult experiences over time. You may still feel the impact of what happened through anxiety, hypervigilance, emotional disconnection, or patterns that once helped you feel safe. Therapy can help you process these experiences and, when appropriate, use EMDR to work through memories that still feel emotionally charged or unresolved.
-
Whether you're navigating low contact, no contact, or a relationship that has become distant and complicated, stepping back from family can bring a mix of relief, grief, guilt, anger, and loneliness. You may know that creating distance is necessary for your wellbeing while still grieving the relationship, family you wished you had, or the version of family you hoped for. Therapy can provide space to make sense of those conflicting emotions and navigate family relationships on your own terms.
-
Even positive changes can bring uncertainty, grief, or a sense of losing your footing. Whether you're navigating a relationship change, becoming a different version of yourself, changes in family or career, or simply realizing that the life you've built no longer feels quite right, therapy can help you make sense of what's changing and move forward with greater clarity.
-
Sometimes you reach a point where you realize you've spent so much time being who others needed you to be that you're not sure who you are outside of those roles. Therapy can give you space to explore your values, needs, identity, sexuality, and gender; reconnect with what feels authentic to you; and build a life that feels more genuinely like your own.
I work especially well with adults who…
Are highly self-aware but still feel stuck in the same patterns
Have spent years taking care of everyone else
Struggle with boundaries, guilt, or people-pleasing
Want to understand how childhood shaped their adult relationships
Feel disconnected from themselves despite appearing to have it together
Are navigating complex family relationships or estrangement
Are recovering from emotionally immature or narcissistic relationships
Want deeper change rather than another list of coping skills
Are working through the lasting impact of trauma or painful experiences
Want an LGBTQIA+ affirming space to explore identity, relationships, and belonging
How we work together
Our work goes beneath the surface to understand the "why" behind your patterns. I use a trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach that may include parts work, EMDR, and somatic techniques to help you process what you've experienced, build self-compassion, and create new, more supportive patterns in your life and relationships.
